One of Georgetown Manor's young volunteers, Makinsey Thrasher, recently won a Drumstick Ice Cream Party from Nestle and Edy's Ice Cream. The party was held before school started to honor the group of volunteers: Makinsey, Makayla McBride, Taleesa Smith and Kelsie Mallory. Donning matching hats and shirts, the girls helped hand out nearly 400 drumsticks to residents over a two-day period.
