Seminar Description

The new survey process for the CMS Requirements of Participation (RoP) has now been in effect for approximately eight months. We have heard “the stories”…surveys lasting two weeks and longer; Resident Council interviews lasting 2 or more hours; and then there’s the deficiencies…IJs and Level G citations in many areas that had not been cited at this level in the past. The reports and “rumors” continue as survey findings mount. What is true and what is rumor? On which areas are surveyors actually focusing? Which requirements are causing the most concern? And what do facilities need to have in place? Come and learn as Cat shares the trends that we are seeing under the current survey process, as well as the “most-cited” deficiencies. She will be discussing facility systemic process, as well as offering suggestions and recommendations for documentation, assessment, care planning, staff training/competencies and sufficiency. Cat consistently explains compliance issues in a manner that everyone can easily understand. Register your entire interdisciplinary team!

Registration: 8 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
Training: 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. (lunch on your own)
