Laying the Foundation for a Strong PDPM Transition Team. 

AHCA’s PDPM Academy Workshops are designed to help SNFs develop a coordinated PDPM Transition Plan. The in-person workshop is composed of four modules which lay the foundation for transition planning:

      Module 1: addresses building assessment including operations and quality performance

·        Module 2: covers collection of clinical information and patient classification

·        Module 3: helps assess market position in a PDPM environment

·        Module 4: walks participants through the Academy tools and resources they will receive as we approach the implementation date

Provider members of AHCA and the Kentucky Association of Health Care Facilities who register for the PDPM Academy will have access to: PDPM 101 workshop webinars, One-day in person training workshop -February 27th, monthly webinars on key topics and emerging PDPM issues and "How to" webinars on AHCA developed tools. Established in 1954, the Kentucky Association of Health Care Facilities (KAHCF) is the trade association that represents the proprietary and nonproprietary nursing facilities and personal care homes across the Commonwealth. The Kentucky Center for Assisted Living (KCAL) was established in 2018.
